Welcome to SWFL Handy. By using our website or booking a service through us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Use of Website
By browsing or submitting information through our website, you agree to our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service. Your use of this site and our services means you accept all terms and conditions listed here.
Service Terms
- Subcontractors & Employees
SWFL Handy reserves the right to use both employees and subcontractors to complete any service requested. All individuals we send to your property are trusted professionals trained to deliver quality results. - Property Insurance Requirement
All properties where work is performed must have active Florida homeowner’s insurance. We are not responsible for servicing any property without proof of valid insurance coverage in place. - Our Insurance Coverage
Our business carries insurance that covers our employees and subcontractors, including injuries on the job. However, please note that our insurance does not cover accidental damage to your property that may occur as a result of the work performed. Homeowners are advised to check with their own insurance providers regarding coverage for contractor-related damage.
Estimates and Payments
- Free phone estimates are provided as a courtesy.
- On-site inspections or service evaluations (such as painting walkthroughs) may require a small service fee, which will be clearly stated ahead of time.
- Full payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Cancellations and Scheduling
- We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment.
- Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a fee.
Quality and Workmanship
We take pride in offering clean, professional, and courteous service. While we aim for perfection, minor touch-ups or follow-up visits may occasionally be required and will be scheduled promptly if needed.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide clear access to the work area.
- Secure pets and children during service.
- Ensure personal items and valuables are removed or protected from work zones.
- Confirm that the work area meets any relevant building code or HOA guidelines.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service for any reason, including unsafe working conditions, unreasonable customer behavior, or incomplete information.
